Acoustic Control done Beautifully

While glass walls and shiny surfaces like displays are brilliant in meeting and conference rooms, they can impact the sound quality and clarity of the speaker. This is because sound waves can bounce off shiny, solid and glass surfaces. This is where acoustipics art comes in. Placed at strategic points around the room, they can improve meeting and presentation experience for both the speakers and the audience. This is because they absorb any sound which hits them, preventing bounce and interference.
Placement should be high enough to cope with the presenters speech and low enough to cope with any audience questions. If you have ever experienced an echo-y meeting room or suffered through a presentation with poor acoustics, you will understand the benefit
Plants, carpets and soft furnishings also help but they are a little less easy to place in an office environment.

How Acoustipics Do More Than Just Look Great
acoustipics are made of a double layer.
The upper layer is acoustic material which is the first sound absorbing tier. It is made of durable, woven material which we print using a dye sublimation print technique. This involves special dye inks, which permanently bond with the fabric fibres, resulting in vibrant, long-lasting, and breathable prints. As well as looking stunning, this means they can be easily wiped clean.
The base layer is acoustic foam, made from 25kg/m3 grey acoustic foam. Product dimensions are 900mm x 600mm x 40mm. This is a depth which dampens a wide range of acoustic frequencies. When these acoustic frequencies are absorbed, they stop bouncing around the space.
